Want
to start your own Study Group?
We
receive many inquiries for study groups who wish to
study medieval swordsmanship, but sadly in most locales
there is no school nearby. After much consideration and
discussion, we have decided to support the development
of Study Groups.
- 3
person minimum: Organize
your group or school along whatever lines you wish.
Existing schools can add the Schola curriculem and
get our support for your efforts so that you can add
a Western martial arts component to your offerings.
- Commuit
to development of Italian longsword through our
school curriculem: Study
at your own pace, but follow our curriculem for the
development of longsword skills. Follow the
progressions for Italian longsword, but add your own
modules for Breadth courses and contribute back to
the Schola!
- Combination
progression seminar / video materials available:
Use our tapes to help guide your students through
the main tracks for medieval and Renaissance combat
techniques.
Get access
also to Schola banners and teaching aids at
wholesale prices!
- Ultra-low
cost progression seminars: Our
instructors will come to you for the cost of travel
and a very modest stipend. Students pay a modest fee
for testing, and we will even come and help you with
medieval formatted tournaments!
- Access
to group buys on equipment for big savings!
Periodically we will purchase things like training
weapons, gambesons, shoes and the like and you can
pass great savings on to your school members!
- Discount
entry to Schola sponsored seminars,
including the prestigious Annual International
Swordsmanship Symposium!
