Our study group is now forming! Contact us for more information. We are planning a Longsword seminar and equipment purchase in February - March. Presently we practice on Weds. evenings in the Birmingham area from 7-10 or so, but we are looking at getting space at the Jeff State Community College, so watch for new info soon!

Scott Adkins, the study group leader, is a law enforcement professional teacher of PPCT/Defensive Tactics Insructor for the Birmingham, a certified instructor of Ju-Jitsu, and has 10 years of SCA combat experience.

We are interested in longsword and poleaxe especially.

We are practicing now with general footwork and preliminary work, but we are looking to get things rolling very soon. Brian Price will be in town during April for our first Longsword seminar, at which point we'll be using the Schola curriculem. Come join us!
