for April 16-17, 2005, and plan to begin regluar training shortly

Ryan Weaver is the study groups'
leader, an indefatiguable organizer. The group is studying the Italian
longsword, but may expand our interest as time goes by.

Fiore
dei Liberi Longsword Fundamentals Seminar by Brian R. Price
April 16-17, 2005
In this two-day seminar, students will be taken ona whirlwind tour through the longsword of Fiore dei Liberi. Opening work will focus on games and drills to develop balance, footwork, and the fundamentals of powerful offensive actions including colpi and punte. The second day focuses on defenses and some of Fiore's longsword plays.
Both days are designed to acquaint students with skills and practice drills needed to develop core skills in the weapon and to facilitate the group's training.
