We meet at the Salvation Army main Hall in the city centre at Hyregatan 3b. We start with Abrazare at 18:00 on Monday and continue at 19:30 with the Longsword.

RECENT NEWS
Group Founded: The first of March we opened the doors to the first training in Malmö, Sweden. It was a great training with six zugadori present.
CURRENT CLASSES - semester starts first week of September
Modern Grappling: Monday 17:00-18:00 (BJJ based ground fighting)
Fight club: Monday Monday 18:15-19:15 (Open Sparring)

Little Chimps: Tuesday 17:00-18:00 (MA games for the youngest 4-7)
Young Lions: Tuesday 18:15-19:15 (Grappling for juniors 8-14)
Abrazare:Tuesday 19:30 - 21:00 (Fiorian unarmed combat)
UPCOMING EVENTS
SSG Europe get together: On Thanksgiving weekend 2010 SSG Malmö invites all SSG groups in Europe (with a special invitation of course to our American friends) to attend the first official SSG Europe get together. It will be a weekend of classes, grading and tournaments.

EQUIPMENT FOR ABRAZARE
For the Abrazare Self Defence course all you need is a T-shirt and long training pants. In time you will need sparring gloves, a teeth guard and elbow pads.
EQUIPMENT FOR SWORD TRAINING
We are mostly using shinai trainers with wooden crossguards for sword-play exercises. The group has some loaner armour when you visit the first few times, but the recommended equipment is:
Minimum Equipment for training
- Wooden dowel or broomstick sword trainer
- T-Shirt & Long training trousers
- Flat soled dance or tai chi shoes
- Leather Gloves
Minimum for sparring
- Shinai trainer
- Fencing helmet
Ice hockey Elbow guards and throat protection- Lacrosse gloves , Ice hockey gloves or SSG kevlar gloves
- Tai chi shoes or flat dancing shoes
Recommended equipment for sparring
- Shinai trainer or Aluminum/Steel trainer
- Light bascinet
- SSG Jacket (Suparelli)
- Metal elbow protection
Gorget- Metal gauntlets
- Flat medieval shoes
