Longsword Fundamentals

The Omaha study group of Schola Saint George is proud to announce our first western martial arts seminar!
On the 2nd and 3rd of February 2008, Brian Price, Founder & Principale of Schola Saint George, will be presenting Longsword Fundamentals, a two-day seminar to serve as an introduction to Fiore dei Liberi’s Fior di Battaglia, 14th Century Italian fighting treatise. This will focus on the development of a strong fighting platform through Fiore dei Liberi's longsword poste. We will be covering topics such as balance, stance, footwork, unarmed & longsword poste, the first four plays of abrazzare and the importance of the segno. No previous martial arts experience is necessary.
This seminar will take place at Therese’s Taekwondo, located at 132 N Washington St, Papillion, Nebraska. The cost of the seminar is $50 and will include lunch on Saturday.
