Founded by Nick Wooden and Joel Bader, Portland focuses on the SSG's curriculum for the sword in two hands. In Dec. 2018, Nick and Joel successfully completed their compagno tests, and will soon be expanding their activities in the Portland area.

Before sparring, students must become members of the SSG, Inc., which is $35/year.
Currently none. May change if we get our own site.
TIME & PLACE
Friday
Practice starts with a discussion on how training and "at home" practice has been going. Then we move into some warm up activities and "games" before drilling fundamentals. We typically end with learning something new to work on for the following week.
We are not currently doing contact sparing at practice but are hoping to move in that direction soon!
